Gun Lake Tribe hires 200 more workers to meet casino demand

The Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Potawatomi Indians, also known as the Gun Lake Tribe, is hiring 200 additional employees at its casino in Michigan.

The Gun Lake Casino has only been open a month. But business has been so good that the tribe needed to bring in more people.

"We are very pleased and anticipated being busy, but what we got was more than what we expected,” said marketing director Carter Pavey said at a press conference, The Grand Rapids Press reported.

The facility now has 900 employees.
